Why Nepean in particular

Nepean is a mix, and that mix is the point. Bells Corners and parts of Arlington Woods predate Poly B, so copper is common. Before you book anything

1. Confirm what you actually have. Grey and flexible with a crimped copper ring is Poly B. Orange and blue with brass fittings is Kitec, which is a different conversation with the same ending.
2. Email your insurance broker and ask, in writing, whether the policy limits water-damage coverage because of the supply piping and what changes if you replace it.
3. Get the scope described in writing, and check whether drywall repair is in or out of the price.
